The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry is arranging a mega Exhibition in the month of May 2010, the selected venue is Topi Rakh near Ayub Park. Manufacturers and Traders from all over Pakistan will be invited to participate in the event.

INTERCITY METROPOLITAN TRAIN SYSTEM FOR RAWALPINDI CITY

For the first time in the history of Rawalpindi City, RCCI has taken the initiative of developing a comprehensive metropolitan train system for Rawalpindi city, the train system will link the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi and adjacent areas across the corners of metropolitan. Initially an overhead system is under consideration for which a panel of experts has started working in the premises of RCCI. In phase one a Pre-feasibility report will be developed which will later on be presented to the government functionaries for final approval. The management of RCCI is already in contact with number of government departments i.e. Pakistan Railways (PRACAS), CDA and RDA.
